Map and Floor Plan Tutorial

A map/floor plan can be added to give the tour user an idea of spatial awareness. the compass direction finder can be controlled to point in the same direction as the user is looking.

Map hot spots to show the user where abouts they are in a room or area can be added using X Y coordinates. Alt tags can be added to each hot spot too.

mapRoom_btn_PosX

<mapRoom_btn_PosX>606</mapRoom_btn_PosX>

The X position controls where the hot spot will be position along the horizontal axis.

mapRoom_btn_PosY

<mapRoom_btn_PosY>260</mapRoom_btn_PosY>

The Y position controls where the hot spot will be position along the vertical axis.

mapRoomAltTag

<mapRoomAltTag>Living room</mapRoomAltTag>

This is the text a user will see when hovering over the map hotspot, can be used to give the user information about what will happen or which room they will be taken to if the hot spot is clicked.

roomRadarStartAngle

<roomRadarStartAngle>1</roomRadarStartAngle>

This is used to match the direction the compass is pointing in relation to the direction the panorama is being viewed. change the angle from 1° through to 360°s. the ° symbol does not need to be added, just the number of degrees in numerical form.
